Happy Holidays Friends and Fam!

City Harvest is an org soooo near and dear to my heart as I'm on the junior board called Generation Harvest. I've been volunteering in soup kitchens, food pantries, mobile free farmers markets, and in our repacking facility as well as doing all I can to help feed friends and neighbors in NYC since I joined over a year ago.

As the holiday season approaches and 2018 comes to a close I feel so fortunate to be able to enjoy meals with my own family (and friends) over the holidays but not everyone is so lucky. Help me reach my goal of feeding 4,000 New Yorkers by raising $1000 this holiday season (by Dec. 31st)!

In case you’re not familiar, City Harvest works right here in New York City, rescuing good food that would otherwise go to waste – this year it will be 59 million pounds of food – and delivering it free of charge to soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the city. Every $1 donated helps City Harvest rescue and deliver 4 pounds of good food. By donating, you’ll help keep City Harvest’s trucks on the road and filled with nutritious food for our neighbors in need.

• $10 helps feed 40 people

• $20 helps feed 11 people for a week

• $50 helps feed 6 people for an entire month
