This fall, HarperCollins will once again hold the City Harvest Challenge to help feed hungry New Yorkers. We've divided the company into four teams, and your goal is simple: donate more than the competition does!

Today, more than 1.2 million New Yorkers, including one in five children, struggle to put meals on their tables. This year, City Harvest will collect 61 million pounds of excess food and deliver it free of charge to hundreds of soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the five boroughs. Every $1 donated helps City Harvest rescue and deliver four pounds of good food. By donating, you'll help keep City Harvest's trucks on the road and filled with nutritious food for our neighbors in need.

We are collecting monetary donations via this secure online donation form (as well as cash collection boxes in the HarperCollins offices). Each dollar and each food item will count as one point. The team with the most points at the end of the donation period will win. In honor of the winning team, HarperCollins will match the donation bade by that team.
