Welcome to Town's virtual food drive! We can work together to help put food on the City Harvest trucks!

Use this page to make a donation in the amount of coins and cash from your child's Truck or Treat collection envelope. If you prefer to return your Truck or Treat envelope to school, we will happily accept envelopes through Friday, November 4th.

How it works:

• If your child will be Trick-or-Treating during Halloween, they can take along their Truck or Treat for City Harvest envelope to collect coins or cash along the way!
• After Halloween, we ask that families count the collected money at home, deposit the cash and then make a credit card donation through this team page for the same amount.
• We can also accept Truck or Treat envelopes back at school, if you prefer! 

Why we do it:

City Harvest works right here in New York City, rescuing good food that would otherwise go to waste – this year it will be 55 million pounds of food – and delivering it free of charge to soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the city. Every $1 donated helps City Harvest rescue and deliver 4 pounds of good food. By donating, you’ll help keep City Harvest’s trucks on the road and filled with nutritious food for our neighbors in need. 

• $10 helps feed 40 people

• $20 helps feed 11 people for a week

• $50 helps feed 6 people for an entire month
