In an effort to help support NYC during these unprecedented times, the PwC NYM Deals Corporate Responsibility team is partnering with City Harvest to aid their food rescue and delivery efforts in response to COVID-19.

With NYC public schools closed, we know that children may lose access to school meals and families will face greater challenges affording food. Additionally, as the economic impact of the crisis becomes a reality, even more New Yorkers will be turning to organizations like City Harvest to put food on their tables.

Our Campaign - NYM Deals Fills a Truck
City Harvest will be bringing in truckloads of meal boxes, fresh produce and nutrient dense foods in order to help meet the urgent need for food in our community. These meal boxes include a number of nonperishable food items to help families get through the tough days ahead.

Our Goal
Our goal is to raise $22,500, which will allow City Harvest to bring in half a truckload of food to feed New Yorkers in need during this emergency.

*Through April 17, City Harvest’s Board of Directors is matching every $1 donated with $2 of their own, ensuring your gift goes 3 times as far.*

With this matching initiative in place, if we can raise $7,500 through April 17, we can accomplish our goal of filling half a truck….and who knows, maybe we can even fill a whole truck!

City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization, helping to feed the nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables. We will rescue 64 million pounds of food this year and deliver it, free of charge, to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, and other community partners across the five boroughs. Our programs empower individuals through nutrition education, increase our partners’ capacity, and strengthen the local food system, helping New Yorkers who are experiencing food insecurity to access, afford, and consume nutritious food.
