This year has been a challenging one for many, but has also left me feeling extremely thankful for all of the blessings in my life - including living in this wonderful city. One of my sisters gave me a poster a few months ago that says "when you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a taller wall" - through this food drive, I'm hoping to be able to give back to this community that I now call home and build a longer (virtual) table.

City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization, helping to feed the nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables. We will rescue 66 million pounds of food this year and deliver it, free of charge, to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, and other community partners across the five boroughs.
