McGraw Hill's 6th Annual Food Drive 2021
The McGraw Hill New York office is supporting the Repack to Give Back campaign by partnering with City Harvest for our sixth annual Holiday Food Drive. In keeping with our MH tradition, we invite all MH colleagues to participate by donating to help City Harvest deliver fresh, nutritious food to communities across the five boroughs, every day. To get us started, we have already made a donation of $5,000.00 from the funds that had been set aside for our annual holiday office celebration. Contribute any amount – no donation is too small – to help us make even more of an impact!
Did you know that more than 1.5 million New York City residents are food insecure? There has been a 38% increase over pre-pandemic figures. Your donation helps keep City Harvest’s fleet of 26 refrigerated trucks on the road seven days a week, picking up food from nearly 2,000 generous food donors. Because of your donation, City Harvest is able to deliver this food, free of charge, to nearly 400 of soup kitchens, food pantries, and other community food programs.
How You Can Help
Make a monetary donation to our Holiday Food Drive from November 17th to December 15th and help us reach our goal of $8,000.
A donation of $35 recues and delivers 100 lbs of food.
Reminder:If you choose to make a donation, McGraw Hill will support your generosity by matching employee contributions to eligible nonprofit organizations dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,500 (U.S.) per calendar year per employee.
