For the past 3 years it has been a Stevenson Girls Basketball Tradition to feed our Community! Working, playing, and attending school in the poorest congressional district in the country highlights the need for us to give back. The COVID pandemic has exacerbated the need for us to come together as a community and support those in need. This is our community and this is our #LEGACY ! We ask that you please consider donating via our online link or canned goods in person! Lets go STEVO! #adidaslegacy
City Harvest is New York’s first and largest food rescue organization, helping to feed millions of New Yorkers who struggle to put meals on their tables. As the city emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, we will rescue 111 million pounds of fresh, nutritious food and deliver it—free of charge—to nearly 400 food pantries, soup kitchens, community partners, and our own Mobile Markets across the five boroughs. We work alongside our community partners to boost community capacity, expand nutrition education, and strengthen local food systems. For more than 35 years, City Harvest has always been there to feed our city—one day, one meal, one New Yorker at a time.
As New York City begins its long recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our neighbors are still struggling to put food on their tables. . Please help me make sure that no good food goes to waste while so many of our neighbors are in need. Together, we can make a difference one day, one meal, one person at a time.
Every $1 donated helps City Harvest feed two New Yorkers for a day. By donating, you’ll help keep City Harvest’s trucks on the road and filled with nutritious food for our neighbors in need.
